Corydoras hastatus – Tiny, Active Schooling Catfish
The Corydoras hastatus, also known as the Dwarf Cory or Tail-spot Cory, is one of the smallest members of the Corydoras family, reaching just about 1 inch in size. They are unique among Corydoras because they often swim in the mid-water column as well as along the substrate, creating a lively and engaging display when kept in groups.
With their peaceful nature, small size, and charming schooling behavior, Corydoras hastatus are perfect for nano and community aquariums. Their silver bodies accented with a distinctive black spot at the base of the tail make them both subtle and striking in planted aquascapes.
